Sirius XM is great. $ 22 bucks a month over 100 channels. The music selection is great, and best part...NO COMMERCIALS. Get the home docking station just pop radio receiver out of car and plug in at home.
News, traffic, weather, talk, sports, wide music selection.
So, let me get this straight; even after the expense of buying a Satelite Radio for home use, I will still need to PAY for a SUBSCRIPTION? I will be in hock to ‘somebody’ for approx. $20. a month!! I think that concept is what made me reject the satelite method years back when it began.
Is there a way to get some kind of variety of talk shows without being on the hook month after month, or is that just the way the system works? These are some of the questions I’d be too embarrassed to ask a sales clerk who probably grew up with this being the main method of getting radio.
What? I pay $6.00 per month.
When your subscription is nearing its end, call and say you want to cancel. They will provide you with alternative offers to keep you as a subscriber. Stand your ground, do not accept the first offer they make.
Listen carefully to what is being offered. Sometimes the alternative offer is temporary ($5.00/mo for 5 mos)and you will have to call back prior to that offer expiring for another offer or the temporary offer may automatically roll over into a full price subscription.
Like others, I have done this for years. I am presently at $6.00/mo per year that automatically rolls over to $6.00/mo per year at renewal.
Just remember that they absolutely do not want to lose you as a subscriber. Goggle, " how to get best offer from SiriusXM," to see other people's experiences.
