I haven't seen Schindler's List after all these years and am curious as to everyone's thoughts on the movie and also wanted to let my FReeps know it was going to be on.

Then you really should take the time to watch it - it’s quite an amazing movie, based on a true story.

Rough movie to sit through. Particularly the “cleansing” of the Warsaw Ghetto.

If you can ignore Liam Neeson's off stage liberalism, you will view one of the most well acted and spectacular movies ever made, IMHO.
The brutality of the Nazis is contrasted by Schindler's compassion for the Jewish people.
You'll also enjoy the very end, set decades later in Israel; but I don't want to ruin it for ya :-).

It’s a very good movie and very sad at the same time.
What strikes me as odd is that NO ONE seems to learn from this.
This is what happens when you give all the power to the government, take a way people’s human rights, their dignity, silence speech, take the guns, falsely accuse people, etc...
It’s a prime example of why you should not give power to the State under a Socialist system. It’s ASTOUNDING that leftist are TOO F*CKING STUPID to realize that Nazis were Socialist.

It’s a good movie worth watching at least once. That’s as many times as I can watch a movie like this one. Same as Sophie’s Choice. Excellent movie but I couldn’t take watching it but one time.

I despise Speilberg and just about everything he stands for. However,I *will* give him credit...*enormous* credit...for having made two of the most important English language films of all time...Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List.Schindler is a part of my rather small Bluray collection and I watch it about once a year.I don't watch it more frequently because I don't want it to become “ordinary” or “routine” to me.

In light of all the flak American Sniper has been taking from the Left, nobody ever blasted Spielberg for his lack of "ambiguity" for portraying the Nazis as the bad guys.
