Well you could just trust the Vikings and their name for a large island.

In Texas the hottest summer in the past 8 or so years was 2011. Went over 30 days straight with 100 F. Was the summer before I arrived, but the locals told me. Been getting colder every summer since. Fairly obvious that all the cronies have left are lies.

We haven’t had a warm summer in So. California in at least the last 8 years!
I used to wear long pants no more than 2 months ofthe year and now i don’t wear shorts 2 months of the year if that!

I liked the brand new Mikey MannCo manufactured “double hockey stick” graph.
It looked as good as the photo shopped Iranian missile launch image from years back.
” made the ridiculous claim that a single station temperature was representative of a 1200 km radius region.”
Yeah, about that.. Temperature variances within that area can vary wildly by a vast margin.
Sometimes by ten or more degrees.
Looking on a wunderground wundermap with the temp stations option on, you can usually note regional variances.
And how temp will be very different between, oh, the city and thecountry.
Cities have a thing called “heat island effect”.
And most NOAA temp stations are set near...
...pavement, stones, rooftops inside boxes with lit lighting throwing heat.

Obviously some side in the debate is lying, as others claim 2014 was the warmest year this side of Hell.
Given the track record, I think it is the commies not telling the truth again.
Period.

A most likely explanation for the increasing UHIE, is expansion of the suburban area until it encompassed airport weather stations originally outside the city. I've long suspected the relocation of weather stations to major airports has had a hand in creating this "crisis." Currently, NYC's offic weather station is in the middle of Central Park, an 840 acre green oasis. Imagine the panic the alarmists could whip up if they moved the weather station to JFK, a 4,930-acre island of asphalt.

Jack, that was a riot. I really enjoyed it. That was Carry’s Chief Dan George voice. Too bad he’s not a conservative, instead he is a gun control idjit.
But you can bet its cold here.Absolute zero is much closer here. LOL.
