A ton of stuff has been filmed in New Mexico lately. The scenes of the Taliban firefight in the mountains in “Lone Survivor” were filmed about 6 miles from my house.
That alone should disqualify it as a film to be seen. The entire book is based on hiking the AT. Too bad because the book is quite good and funny as hell.
