Things are really starting to heat up regarding the Silk Road marketplace (as if things already werent hot enough).
Following the start of Ross Ulbrichts trial last week, a bitcoin trader has been sentenced to four years in prison due to his unveiled connections to the underground illegal market.
Robert M. Faiella (who often operated under the code name BTCKing) has recently pled guilty to operating an illegal money transmission business. Often times, the business saw to the exchange of fiat currency for bitcoins, which would then be used to purchase drugs and other items from Silk Road.
Faiella, a 55 year old Florida native is a former plumber, who explained that he turned to bitcoin to support his family following repeated back problems.

They killed Kennedy for going against the Fed.
Anyone not using the “king’s” currency is a threat to the status quo.
JFK didn’t actually go against the Fed. He was merely thinking about it too loudly. But what you say about the king’s currency is true. Favored insiders get to siphon off a share of the national wealth by design.
They didn’t charge him with facilitating the illegal purchases (though maybe they will later, I don’t know). They charged him with illegally transmitting the funds, as I imagine there are federal regulations on that kind of business that he did not follow.
