Actually the 1970s produced probably the best music of all time. I agree about the fashion though. Dreadful. I remember being in high school in 1978 and wearing platform shoes with a silk shirt unbuttoned down to the waist with a gold medallion necklace. Like one of the Bee Gees. I'm glad mobile phones with cameras weren't around back then but this was pretty much what it looked like:

A great decade for music. Most of the ‘60s/hippies music that people really liked was actually from the ‘70s.
