Cats can be excellent caretakers. My little one will use the litter box, then lick herself clean. Then shell hop in bed with me and lick my face clean as well. Sounds like my dog....
After getting up in the middle of the night to snack on what the cats left in the litter box, my dog likes to jump back into bed and lick me. But he quickly gets kicked out of bed!
