He should. Manning’s game is in serious decline and he won’t win another Superbowl. He doesn’t need the money so why risk injury just to extend his career?
I totally agree re: risking injury. Of course, I’m not an athlete and I don’t get the mentality. In the sports world...39 is NOT young. He can make plenty of money from endorsements, commercials and other ventures. I can easily see him as a commentator.
I have been a huge Peyton fan for all of his career. And, heck, I live in the land of America’s Team (/s). He needs to hang up his cleats...and probably should have after last year.
Maybe Mrs. Manning needs to talk to him. ;)
