I am not sure I see this as too alarming. I recall as a kid mixing up a crazy concoction in a cup, it was for the mean old lady next door to us. I never did anything with it, I think I got the idea from Snow White and pretending made me feel better.
In high school a friend and I were walking out of school on a Thursday afternoon, and talking about how we wished that we had Friday off. One of us said that we could call in a bomb scare, and there happened to be a teacher right behind us. She grabbed both of our arms and read us the riot act. She took care of it quickly and neatly. We never uttered the words “bomb scare “ in school again.
