Not to mention vastly better contraception technology. Today's IUD's and birth control pills are VASTLY better than the older ones that caused all kinds of medical issues with women; in fact, the daily dosage of hormones used a modern birth control pill is very low compared to the original birth control pills prescribed in the 1960's.
