It’s not just that some have no clue though.

As the article points out, some women have irregular cycles.
My wife has had cycles just over two weeks apart. She has also had cycles four months apart.

I think there would still have to be either a reason why the baby didn’t kick or a reason why the woman didn’t feel the kicks for even an obese woman to be unaware.

If the placenta is anterior, the whole front of the uterus is essentially cushioned, so no kicks out front. If its a first pregnancy, she might just think its bad gas bubbles or something similar.

Then there are those of us who always look like we’re packing around twins when pregnant. LOL.

Exactly. I know far more women with irregular cycles than women who are regular.

I don’t know of anyone who just doesn’t care because it’s horribly embarrassing to be caught out. And, trust me, it will always be at a time or place guaranteed for maximum embarrassment!
