I remember the AFC championship game in 1981 in Cincinnatii . Wind chill at kick off was -57!!. The Chargers had flown in from San Diego the day before. The bengal offensive line took the field in short sleeves. Not much of a game. Chargers couldn’t wait to get back to sunny California, trophy less of course.

I remember that game also! Watched it at work nobody came in that day too dang cold. We all sat up front and watched the game on a little black and white tv with lousy reception

That Cincy game made the Ice Bowl look like the Lukewarm Bowl.

Especially since the Chargers had played the previous week in Miami, talk about going from one extreme to the other.
