One of our family’s long time docs is a dual Canadian/American citizen, and as I understand it, the Canadian testing process is much more streamlined than here. For these types of resistant bacteria, I agree that those seriously ill should have the choice to try the drug after the preliminary testing shows it works. The nano sponges recently described in various publications are hopefully going to be another tool against serious infections, as well.
