I can relate. Several years ago when I was buying tires from BJ’s, I had ten (10) in a row develop cracks in the side walls. I told the manager of the danger and he told me to get lost. I’ve wondered since how many accidents have been caused by dried-out, cracked BJ tires (their shelf-life is about 36 months).

Did you know that present federal regs require that tires decompose in sunlight within 15 years?
