Perp thought he was just stealing a $600 tool shed, not a $35K doll house.

Tiny houses are a booming market.
People don’t want to be shackled down by a big house and a hefty mortgage.
If designed right, a 700 ft home can be more livable than a home twice the size.
Besides the cost and practicality there is also the cuteness factor.
No wonder they’re becoming a magnet for thieves.

Went to the link and as the comments read, what did this/these morons spend 35 G’s on?
Its a pice of crap.
I once was looking in West Melbourne Fl for a place to build and the locals told me be sure to put up a chain link fence and get a Rottweiller cause when your gone to work one day “They will steal your radio and leave the music playen”.
I bought near the ocean.

35K for THAT?!?
I've built from the ground up an 1100sqft cabin w/ a 300sqft porch furnished it, plumbed it to collect rainwater (w shower, sinks, etc) and have a solar system set up to run all of our lights and a fridge and have only rung up about 21K. And that was WITH paying a roofer to install my metal roof.
moron, indeed.

If you put your house mounted on a trailer, and don’t even take off the wheels or use a hitch lock....

Why “Moron”?
Nothing wrong with simple, affordable, conservation minded living. All are conservative values.

‘tiny house’ - a way of getting impressionable people to spend twice as much money for half as much house.

From the looks of it, he went ‘tiny’ on the paint, too. I wouldn't mind having a tiny house, I'd put it by the pool and use it as a guest house,

Texas couple had build a 'tiny house' to commit themselves to 'green living' but the entire home ended up being stolen. LOL. The good news for the thieves is that, given the value of the house, they will only be charged with a misdemeanor.

Saw a few episode of the tiny house series on HGTV and one was like 182 square feet for 40 grand. A little tight, but one person could do it. You might get a better deal on a used travel trailer which could be moved easily.

A San Antonio, Texas couple had build a 'tiny house' to commit themselves to 'green living' but the entire home ended up being stolen. Casey Friday says, "It was depressing, devastating, made me angry and shocked all at the same time.""YOU didn't build that!" - Pres. B.Obama
