My Filipino has Facebook. All of her friends are there, and they will take a couple of hundred pictures and post them whenever there is something happening. It doesn't have to be a big event.
We have a pizzeria at our home. Many of our friends and neighbors come by to buy good pizza or burgers. While there, they will take pics of what they are eating and post it on their FB pages. Nothing special, just recording the day.
