Today's feature is a crime thriller from Alfred Hitchcock's pre-Hollywood career. He explores his frequent theme of an innocent man on the run helped here by a young and innocent teenage daughter of an English police constable. Hitch's cameo is at 15:29-15:46, making perhaps his longest cameo that I can remember from any of his films.
