For my part, I’ll hang onto my 1911’s. I’ve used/carried them for many years. Only thing I add is an ambi safety, as I shoot left-handed, and hard rubber grips.

Another barter item is imported alcohol. Hard and expensive to get in a shtf but still sought after.

I am stunned that they had to scrape and barter for food and mere essentials. I am shocked and disgusted that our troops are treated this way.
