Last November, he crushed former El Paso Mayor John Cook, a Democrat, to win the office, which manages Texas’ vast land holdings and oversees coastline protection and veterans’ programs.

I didn’t vote for him, left the square blank.

Enough Bushes. I don’t need a dynasty or name brand.

thanks for noting that. This is a powerful position sans the pomp of some offices.

More than his own ego, Geo. P. is why Jeb is noising about running for President. He needs to in order to keep the Bush band together until Geo. P.’s time. He’s afraid that the swarm of mailgnant one-world statists that fund the Bush operation will drift off to other homes before Geo. P. is ready if there isn’t another Bush campaign now to bridge the gap.

>>Jeb should stand aside, and let his son take the lead.

There are over 300 million people in the USA. Not all politicians need to be named Bush.

Jeb’s son is a poster for political corruption.
Required to practice business in Texas to qualify to run for office, he had his name added to the door of a Dallas legal firm while residing out of state.

He is a disgusting POS.

I think George P. is just another moderate. Why do I think that? We’re talking about dynasties. Has anyone ever seen or heard a member of the Kennedy family speak out against or repudiate the Democratic Party and liberalism? No. Well, on the flipside we’ve seen three members of the Bush family in high office and they’ve all been centrists. I think George P. will be heavily influenced politically by his dad, uncle, and grandpa. I don’t see him as a “rock” the boat type person.

Jeb should stand aside, and let his son take the lead.

A statement like that is appropriate in a country with a hereditary monarchy. But in a republic it is at least mildly offensive.

Even with savings, Medicare’s financial hole grew $1.8 trillion last year, more than the federal deficit. One bit of good news: The prescription drug benefit is now projected to be underfunded by $5.3 trillion, less than the original projection in 2005 of $6.7 trillion. Reason: smaller drug price increase and increased use of cheaper generic drugs.

I think Baby Bush would be more politically comfortable with his Uncle Bill and his Castro cousins in San Antonia.

Following in the footsteps of his two uncles and the current pro-ILLEGAL alien governor of Texas?

Another pro-ILLEGAL alien Texan we can do without.

No dynasties please. There should be no more Presidents with the surname Bush for at least a century.

TX truly believes in all thing Bush though they rejected GHWB for the Senate in 1964 and 1970. Now they are ready for native son Jebbie.
