The “win” over Coke Stevenson in the 1948 Senate primary when Lyndon got all 198 votes in a “found” ballot box after a disputed election? How LBJ became a multimillionaire (never explained) on a congressman’s salary?
I think Lady Bird was more deviant than Lyndon was. It was my understanding she was the one with the money.

If the LBJ library is concerned that a movie is depicting his treatment of MLK wrong, it makes me doubt a lot of the other muck we hear about LBJ, could be true. Then, maybe it’s not.
