Good dog!
Hope it hurts pal.
Awesome. I love dogs.
Who goes out at night to “collect” Christmas ornaments? I think she meant to say “stealing.” You can buy them for $1 each at craft stores and a box of 12 costs less than 5 bucks.
She was probably collecting them from people donating the ones they didn’t use. Everybody isn’t a thief, just because it’s rampant in government...lol
Hopefully the dog punctured the skin, and he gets a roaring infection, and tries to tough it out.
Just a few weeks ago a woman I know had a minor cut on her leg. She started to feel ill and thought she was coming down with the flu. Then her husband noticed that the skin around her injury was pink, so he took her to the ER.
Even pumping her full of antibiotics, by sundown that day her entire leg was bright pink. Cellulitis. Blood infection. She had maybe a four hour window to get to the hospital before it could have turned lethal, and she made it.
GOOD DOGGIE!
Good dog if true, but I smell activist. Not sure what kind but she is one.
That is one serious dog. Good boy, Orion:)
Woof.
Orion looks like a pit bull, or part pit bull.
They ARE serious dogs.
From Wikipedia:
The Pit Bull was originally created as a fighting dog by crossbreeding bulldogs, mastiffs, and terriers to produce a dog that combined the size and strength of the mastiff, the gameness and agility of the terrier, with the strength and tenacity of the bulldog.
The early bull terriers of the Elizabethan era were much heavier and bred as fighting dogs to be used for bull and bear baiting in "pit" fights, hence the name.
After the use of dogs in blood sports was banned, pit bulls were used as catch dogs in America for semi-wild cattle and hogs, to hunt and drive livestock, and as family companions, although some owners still bred and used them clandestinely for dog fighting.
This practice continues to this day, but is illegal in many nations.
AMEN ! At my previous residence, I had a neighbor whose ex-husband would visit. During his visits my dog Kaiser, would bark at him so viciously. We learned later that is because when he came for visits sometimes he would beat his ex-wife. I believe Dogs senses a person’s personality. If your not a nice person, they will let you know.

It’s one of those monsters at work again! /S

Well it might not be true and she just may have wanted to get some attention. Why wouldn’t the alleged gunman simply have shot the dog and then left. This part:
Heather made the gunman, who was still on the ground, toss his weapon.
She gave Orion the command to let go.....
My experience with the five dogs (3 lab crosses, one pure bred Lab, and a Great Dane) I’ve been a dog daddy to over the last 40 years has been that a large, generally friendly dog, like this woman’s, is the best. It worked for me that I don’t have a four footed law suit waiting to happen but do have one or two big dogs who can do personality transformations like the one here if necessary. Hence, I’ve gotten the best of both worlds, as she did. What surprised me about this story was how really aggressive her attacker was, since most attackers will run once they are confronted by a large, angry dog like hers. Indeed,if she’d had a gun instead of the dog, she’d have probably had to shoot the subhuman to stop him. Lucky lady.
