I’m a little skeptical of all the rape and molest charges. Major stars do attract such charges from time to time, some true. many simply in hunger for the celebrity’s money.For someone like Cosby all it takes is one highly publicized charged and lawyers and avaricious women will pile on to get a piece of the pie. It’s too late to put him in jail and they all know that but they are all looking for Settlements i.e. free money. Cosby needs to fight hard any of these things that go to law suits. Most of them won’t be able to show sufficient “preponderance of evidence” to win. It will be expensive but cheaper than settling. Settling with one will bring out a hundred more and won’t have an end. Fighting it will make it too expensive for lawyers to risk it on less than convincing cases and most if not all will go away.
You say that this is something that is a part of being a celebrity and that we see this from time to time, but when have we ever seen anything like this?
The total is approaching 30 and ranges from many states and cities and covers a period of about 45 years and women as old as their mid 70s, and as recent as 2008.
Cosby has already settled for one drugging rape, when that victim brought forth 13 Jane Does to testify to his rape methods.
And when have we seen the horror of these claims with no push back from the industry and 50 years of people who knew Cosby the best? The silence is deafening from the insiders who know him and his reputation, and the rumors that a man develops over 50 years.
Sometimes I can’t stand my fellow freepers when they don’t see obvious truth (in these kind of numbers) and support innocent women, but instead choose to throw their support to evil, because he’s famous. Because he pretends to be a good guy.
And the same freepers are the ones saying “why didn’t they come forward at the time?” When the man they can’t believe did it was young and powerful. All this feminism and we get no kindness - we get called nuts n sluts to this very day. Sickening.
