Amen! Totally agree. Josh Groban nails it. I can’t think of any other Christmas song that is as well-done musically or vocally.

I also like Andy Williams’s version from his “Christmas
Album” cd. It’s the simple version of the song, but his voice is amazing. He hits the high note and is sung with a lot of emotion.
