What did your office mates bring to the luncheon? When we were in PA I was working at my husband’s office and we decided one day to have a “chili” luncheon. That sounded great to me until I tasted the version one guy made in a crock pot. I’m not a fan of beans in chili and this had THREE types - and no flavor. Chili doesn’t need to be hot but needs some taste other than three types of beans. But, to be fair, this guy probably would not have been a fan of my spicier, no bean chili either.

One guy has some spicy shrimp in some kind of noodle. Chicken wings. Meatballs. Nacho dip with sausage in it. Some cheesecake, I think.

And there was some pasta to go with the meatballs. And tortilla chips and crackers and cheese and an assortment of lunchmeats. No cheesecake, but brownies and cheese danish and chocolates.

I’m full, but not stuffed.

I go to the local meat store and buy it. Then I heat it up in a crock pot. Bon apetit!

All the doxing that goes on
Ought to be a wake-up call
For egotistical politicians
With a compulsion to tell all

Who get their daily ego fixes
Lording over and bossing around
Workers they treat like serfs-
Those serfs can bring them down

With just an e-mail or a tweet-
One mouse-click makes it viral
As the one who would be king
Goes into a downward spiral...

Sounds good, and I also hate avocados in the blender-this is not baby food-but I’d use the Mexican avocados available here, 86 the salt and add plenty of chopped Serrano peppers, or some crushed chili pequines from my garden...
