If life is going to imitate the movies, why does it invariably choose the bad ones?
After the Fall in the Garden of Eden, man became inherently evil, having lost the complete, spiritual relationship Adam and Eve (the father and mother of us all) had with God, enjoying His peace through the knowledge that He was their eternal protector, thus having absolute innocence with no fear of peril. God is love, and the Word tells us that “perfect love cast out all fear.”
Genesis 6:5: “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
It continues to this day, even after God used the Flood to do a “global reset”.
That would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Maybe it's some kind of cosmic joke and eventually we'll all be able to laugh at it.
