Potential Darwin Award winners. I hate selfies and I do not know how to take a photo with a smart phone or tablet. I am old fashioned curmudgeon and take non-selfie photos with a DSLR camera. The season ending episode of Dr. Who had fun with selfies when people started taking selfies of the Cybermen as they emerged from St. Paul's Cathedral in London.

Hey. Maybe they will be willing to take part in a hostage exchange.

Steven Moffat, the show runner and head writer of “Doctor Who” took a swipe at self absorbed crowds in the season finale. “Cybermen” a alien species kind of like the Borg show up in downtown London, streaming down the steps of St. Pauls cathedral. What happens? Do the crowds run away screaming, clutching their loved ones close while the alien marauders walk the steets of London? No, they stop and take turns taking “selfies” with the alien invaders! Laughed my butt off!

The love of men grows cold. Such a self absorbed and wicked culture we are reaping.
