Good morning n’@!

And by time you read this it will be Happy Tuesday morning (my last “full day” of work). I’ve been staying up late baking...so I prob will be running around like crazy tomorrow morning (again). Friday will be my last day (I just “close up” after the last set of evening hours. I don’t know what I’m in store for Tuesday, as my co-worker called me and clued me in on what little is left (fixtures are being sold along w/inventory). Anyways...I’ll be filing unemployment on Monday (Merry Christmas to me!)

Glad to hear that Q&R will be podcasting soon! (I’ll have time to listen in!) I hope YINZ are ALL more prepared for Christmas than I am...

:) PM

Morning PaMom. Well I just got thrown a curve in the cookie department. Mr S was approached about a cookie tray for another co-worker; But this woman wants choc chip, peanut butter cookie and oatmeal raisin. Those are all cookies that are easy, but mine never turn out. Usually too crispy on outside and too gooey on inside, spread out too much and too thin, etc. So I did the dough for the peanut butter cookies. I’ll bake those tonight. I did the oatmeal raisin I’m not impressed but hubby says they’re good so I’ll rely on him. They are nothing special though!

Why is your place of employment closing? Slow business? Obamacare? I complain about my job, but I’m glad to have it - and the benefits. Our healthcare has, thankfully, not changed.

Well, off to bed again. Got up to let the dog out and hope I can get back to sleep!
