As a sidenote: If Free Republic set up an Amazon affiliate account, they could earn a commission of up to 10% of the purchase price when FReepers use their affiliate link for Amazon purchases.

That would add up quickly. I do a lot of my shopping on Amazon Prime. Great deals, no tax (yet) and mostly no shipping charges.
