It might not be as fragrant as evergreen but this giant beer keg Christmas tree sure taps into the festive spirit.
The Genesee Brewing Co. in Rochester, New York, spent around two weeks constructing the 23-foot-high structure out of 300 stainless steel half-barrels.
Employees laced it with 600 feet of green LED lighting and placed a rotating sign bearing the company's name on top instead of an angel.

“Pining for a beer! Two-story-high Christmas tree made from 300 KEGS is an ale-lover’s dream”
Not really. They’re all empty.
What a headache that would be.....
When it comes time to disassemble it, will they sing “take one down, pass it around...”?
Wait! Is the snow on the right side of that thing yellow?
Hahahahahahahaha.....
It’s Genesee doing their part to stimulate the economy. Imagine how many rolls of TP and bottles of aspirin were sold as a result of all those kegs.
We did that in college, but we used beer cans and they too were all empty.
Anyone else try the new Balantine India pale Ale?
Not to mention I can’t imagine Genesee ever being someone’s dream beer.
Grew up in Buffalo. Genesee tasted like it had been drunk previously. Nasty stuff. They made something worse called Genesee Cream Ale.
But it was cheap. We'd cross the border to Canada and buy Molson Stock Ale.
One of the fraternities on my campus as an undergrad drank only Genesee Cream Ale. Nobody else understood why. Nasty stuff. I always avoided their parties.
Don’t believe I’ve had the opportunity. I’ll take your word for it.
