Yep, that is the reading the establishment wants us to take away from this. So what did they give up to the Democrats? There was clearly a huge effort to give Democrats what they wanted to fill the void left by conservatives who would not support this. It will probably take a day or two, but I fully expect we will discover the give aways in this bill vastly dwarf any conservative gains. I hope I am wrong, but remember the big cut early on that turned out to be lunch money?
I understand what you are saying and I will be watching too. My congressman hears from me frequently and he will hear again if what I’m being told is not the case. So far, I’m happy with what I’ve heard, a budget passed (finally), reining in the BLM, IRS and EPA.
