Tragically, according to the U.S. Department of Justices National Crime Victimization survey, 17.7 million American women have been victims of attempted or completed rape. When a woman is raped, she is violated both physically and emotionally, and the road to recovery is usually fraught with difficulty.
This is why accusing someone of such a crime is a very serious allegation.
In Planned Parenthood spokesperson Lena Dunhams new book, Just Not that Kind of Girl, she explains in detail how she was date raped in college by a campus conservative named Barry. She described him as a violent man who took advantage of women on a regular basis.
She writes, There was a story of him punching a girl in the boobs at a party [and] [M]y friend Melody tells me that once her friend Julia woke up the morning after sex with Barry, and the wall was spattered with blood. Spattered, she said, like a crime scene. But he was nice and took her for the morning-after pill and named the baby they werent having.
After Barry (allegedly) raped her, Dunham said she didnt report the incident because she was in denial that it actually happened. Unfortunately, this happens on a regular basis; women whove been raped often block it out or justify the crime. In fact, 60% of sexual assaults are never reported to the police.
Dunham admits that when the rape occurred she was high on Xanax and cocaine but says she never consented to sex. Dunham said this about the date rape, I know that at no moment did I consent to being handled that way. I never gave him permission to be rough, to stick himself inside me without a barrier between us. I never gave him permission.

However, according to Breitbarts John Nolte, Lena Dunham could have made the whole thing up. After some investigating, Nolte discovered that there was a man named Barry who went to Oberlin College but he claims he never even met Dunham. Nolte explains more, Dunham says Barry worked at the campus library, and even names the radio talk show he hosted. To be sure we get the point, on three occasions Dunham tells her readers that her attacker is a Republican or a conservative, and a prominent one at that no less than the campuss resident conservative.
We immediately found that there indeed was a prominent Republican named Barry who attended Oberlin at the time in question.
Additionally, Dunham describes Barry as having a big mustache, who wore purple cowboy boots and having a deep voice; but there is simply no one who went to Oberlin that fits that description. Now, Random House, the publishing company that gave Dunham a $3.7 million advance for her book, has agreed to pay all the legal fees for the real Barry, whose reputation has been smeared since the false allegation. Theyve also released a statement that says Dunham used Barry as a pseudonym.
The problem is in a different section of her book Dunham acknowledges that she uses a changes a name for privacy purposes yet for Barry she doesnt. Lawyer Eugene Volokh explains the discrepancy with the Washington Post. He said, Early in the book, when she mentions a boyfriend of hers and labels him Jonah, she adds a footnote: Name changed to protect the truly innocent. Reasonable readers, it seems to me, reading the rest of the memoir, would assume that Barry whose name wasnt accompanied with any such footnote was actually named Barry. Even if not all readers would so conclude, many would, and quite understandably so.
Furthermore, as the National Review asks, what are the odds that the most prominent Republican on the Oberlin campus during Dunhams time there was a man named Barry? The odds are pretty slim, especially since Barry is not a common name and is not even among the 100 most common mens names in the United States.
Although no one will ever know the truth behind Dunhams story its important to note that pro-abortion supporters, especially Planned Parenthood, have defended Dunham at every turn. As LifeNews previously reported, in Dunhams memoir she also shares about sexually experimenting with her baby sister but apparently even that doesnt faze the abortion giant. Dunham fits their perfect narrative she is radically pro-abortion, promotes carefree and casual sex and consistently bashes pro-lifers.

Ouch, lol!
Does a Liberal lie?
Does the real Barry have a snowballs chance in a liability suit?
I don’t blame Barry at all for mounting a legal defense. I certainly wouldn’t want anyone to think i crawled in the sack with that hag.
She’s what we call a “two bagger.” A bag to put over her head and one to put over your head in case hers falls off.
Yes, police sometimes use excessive force, but it's not widespread (it's really not, which is why it's news when they shoot someone's dog or some deserving thug). Yes, there were lynchings generations ago, and there are a small number of white racists today who hate black people for their skin color. However, none of those problems are anywhere near as widespread as liberals pretend. It's like distinguishing between smoke in the kitchen because the muffins are burning and a three alarm fire in the home - liberals are reacting to overcooked muffins and pretending the smoke requires an all out response from all levels of government. My response to the Michael Brown shooting? Give the cop a bonus for improving the community. My response to the Trayvon shooting? Similar. As for the false rape claim, I hope this evil woman will lose every dollar she makes as a fiction writer and be shunned by all men she meets for the rest of her life.
