Be safe and shoot the sob from a distance, stops the bleeding and potential risk for the cop. a viable potential defense if this goes to court. the classic argument: man commits suicide by jumping from a tall building as he is falling he passes a room in which a man intentionally fired a shotgun at someone else but misses and kills the suicide instantly. is this murder?

Oh my. How about, neighbor calls in a crank call because you made him mad. Says you have been taking pot shots at him with a silenced weapon and you are actively in the process now.

Cops respond and have no idea what kind of firepower you might have or your state of mind. Safest way to handle the threat you pose is to destroy your house with you in it.

You stick your head out the door and say, "What the hell?" It has been deemed a capital offense to swear at police so they shoot your head off. Did you commit suicide or did the cops murder you?
