Indoor Races at Atlantic City in January: Tickets are on sale for the NAPA Auto Parts Atlantic City Indoor Race. The extremely popular two day auto racing event is set to take place on Friday and Saturday, January 30 and 31 inside Boardwalk Hall. The event will be the thirteenth running of the Gambler's Classic and will draw over 200 competitors from throughout the Northeastern United States and Canada. "We are extremely excited about this year's Atlantic City Indoor Race," said event promoter Len Sammons. "The event continues to grow year after year and has truly become the mid-winter happening for auto racing and is an event people look forward to all year." Premium front row and lower level tickets are expected to sell out quickly, so those hoping to purchase those seats should act quickly. When I was a kid back in Cleveland in the 1950s, my Dad took us to the Cleveland Arena one time in the winter they raced midgets and Crosley stock cars. It was awesome!

I’d love to go to the Chili Bowl races in Tulsa but friends have told me the air quality is bad, and I’m afraid I’d be struggling with asthma.
