As a disabled person myself, I can relate. Chef Robert Irvine has 3 days and $50,000 to renovate the dining hall at Double H ranch in New York's Adirondack mountains.
The camp was founded by Robert Wood and Paul Newman. It provides one of a kind fun experiences for kids with disabilities and life-threatening illnesses.
It allows kids to be kids instead of having to deal with a limiting condition. At the end, Irvine feeds 300 kids.
They some of the most amazing, happiest children I've ever seen. This is the true meaning of gratitude during the holiday season, to give back something to those who have not had the kind of childhood they deserve to have.
And that brings tears of happiness to one's eyes. We should all want to be like them.
