frank and simple good-heartedness; a good-natured manner; friendliness; geniality
Etymology: 1795-1805; < French, equivalent to bonhomme good-natured man (see boon2, Homo ) + -ie -y3
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.

Going wedding dress shopping this morning. She won’t buy one here, but it should be fun. Then lunch out, I get her to myself for a bit of mother daughter bonding.

Sad day for us both but my son looks so much like my Dad it is a amazing. I feel like he’s with me all the time.
I don’t know. I kind of like putting lights on the tree. If I want something different next year, I don’t have to buy a whole new tree.

The real one will be beautiful - and I think your wife will enjoy it. Years and years ago we had our first artificial tree and when we went to take it down one of our lights had melted onto a branch. I felt that had that been a drying real tree it might have caught on fire. So I have never asked for a real tree since.
