The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in New York for a tour of the east coast of the United States.
The couple are in the country for three days, during which Prince William will meet President Barack Obama.
Catherine, who is pregnant with the couple's second child, will accompany the duke to pay respects to those who died in the 9/11 terror attacks.
Danny Lopez, the British consul general in New York, said there had been "incredible interest" in the visit.
He added there has been a huge "level of excitement" from people in the city.

I agree with you entirely. Perhaps I should not be entirely surprised by such gracious comments, looking at your name on here.
Have you ever been to Peterborough Cathedral? Queen Catherine’s resting place is rather touching and is certainly more notable, and attracts greater affection from visitors, than the single slab which records the name of Henry VIII (along with Queen Jane Seymour, King Charles I, and an infant child of Queen Anne) at St George’s Chapel, Windsor.

I’ve never been to the UK. My in-laws visited England a couple of years ago. They had a wonderful time, and they say they’re going to visit again at some point.
There’s so much English history to explore that I don’t think I’d know where to start, but Peterborough Cathedral and those famous gravesites would certainly be on my list.
Catherine was a good woman who held on to her strong faith in spite of terrible misfortunes....I admire her.
