My father was an old time family doctor who delivered scores of babies in the patients home. He often said that God would surely punish this nation for allowing abortions.

Before the 1973 Roe decision only a couple of states had passed laws in favor of abortion (I think they were CA and NY.)

All of the other states had voted against abortion. It took a Supreme Court decision to make abortion on demand the law of the land.

It was forced on it. The majority of people still don't want abortion.
