He is a little young for esophageal cancer, but with his smoking it could be.
Maybe only Barrett’s at this point. Barrett’s is curable put e-cancer is much worse
only 15% survive 18 months.
Ex-husband died of e-cancer. He was 49. It was horrible. He did have Barrett’s before the diagnosis (death 13 months later).
Isn’t E cancer almost always associated with boozing and/or smoking?
If they are doing a CT scan then they found something when they did his endoscopy. The results of the endoscopy will require a biopsy.
He’s complaining about sore throat.and acid reflux. They’ve done a cat scan.
It might be a hiatal hernia which I have. It can give you a perpetual sore throat and acid reflux.
