I know this is pretty standard around the world that you cannot be held without charge for more than a certain period without being charged - it varies according to different countries but 24 to 48 hour seems the norm. Only the UN would be stupid enough to call a delay a human rights abuse. The Law is there to stop people being held without charge for indeterminate amounts of time not for giving money to pirates.

BTW Did the UN tell Iran to pay the American hostages held in the 70’s. No you see it’s only whitey who has to pay - anywhere in the world. The devil is all about bringing down the once Christian West and the west is working in well with him to complete the job!

How do you say, “Fornicate you and the horse you rode in on” in French?

The French government needs to completely and totally ignore this.

The sensible plan would be to sink them and forget about it.

“Insanity. In future cases of piracy on the high seas, I would suggest the French exercise the modern equivalent of Rule Three-oh-Three (.303).”

Or the Russian method, SSS- Shoot, Sink and Shutup

While I like the idea of questioning terrorists and pirates for information, it’s just not worth it. Enemies of civilization should just be shot on the high seas or on the battlefield, with no effort at capture. That will put them permanently beyond the protection of liberals worldwide.
