Had she not been talking on the phone and completely oblivious to what was going on around her, she may have heard the guy running up behind her. It may not have stopped the attack but at least she wouldn't have been blindsided from behind........ I see too many walkers, joggers, in-line skaters and bicyclists listening to music thru their ear phones thinking they're perfectly secure in their own little world of music. It's a recipe for disaster.......

If only she had been walking backwards none of this would of happened.
