WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn., - A woman and her pot-bellied pig were booted off a Washington, D.C.-bound plane after passengers complained the pig was disruptive and stinky.
The pig, thought to be about 70 pounds, had been brought aboard the US Airways plane at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut as an emotional-support animal. Crew members determined the animal was too disruptive and asked the woman to leave with the pig before the flight departed.
Some people aboard the plane thought the woman was carrying a large duffle bag over her shoulder.
"But it turns out it wasn't a duffel bag. We could smell it and it was a pig on a leash," Passenger Jonathan Skolnik told ABC News.
"She tethered it to the arm rest next to me and started to deal with her stuff, but the pig was walking back and forth."

That lil white pig is racis.

Rowdy, smelly pig kicked off plane
Damned if they do, damned if they don't. They could've been fired for not letting her board. Blame the stupid federal rules drafted in 2012 that say emotional support animals are to be allowed on flights and it is up to transportation officials to determine of these animals are too disruptive to fly. That's exactly what they did.
Personally, I think the whole concept of emotional support animals is silly and makes a mockery of service animals. Isn't every pet an "emotional support" animal?
Several years ago, on the flyertalk frequent flyer website, someone started a thread about a passenger who brought either a pony or a miniature horse on board an airliner as a “service” animal.
The passenger with the pony was in First Class. Can you imagine being a passenger in First Class, paying a huge wad of cash for your ticket, and having a freakin’ pony or miniature horse near you?
Makes me miss the olden days when only blind people had a seeing eye dog
I’m insulted! That picture is an insult to fat people everywhere!
I'm afraid this picture may really have insulted pigs even more!
Ah! The old seeing eye pig excuse.
I work PT at that airport in Windsor Locks.
“”I was terrified, because I was thinking I’m gonna be on the plane with the pig,” he said.”
While not appropriate to bring a pig aboard, it’s certainly not terrifying. A person claiming to be a man was terrified and admitted it to the national msm. This is why America is in the shape it’s in. Man up.
The guy sitting next to them said...
“It was terrible. Talk about stink and just downright slovenly. Wouldn’t shut up.”
“What breed is it?”
“Oh, she is a White Female, the traveling companion, a Vietnamese Pot Belly, was actually quite friendly”.

Emotional support animal
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_support_animal
An emotional support animal (ESA) is a companion animal that provides therapeutic benefit, such as alleviating or mitigating some symptoms of the disability, to an individual with a mental or psychiatric disability.
That says more than enough!
Ain`t that the truth? How many people realize just how difficult and expensive it is to train a guide dog? You start with the smartest dogs with the best temperament and only one of eight of those make the final cut?
To declare some odd pet equal to that is a travesty!
