How much do you want to bet that Mickey Mouse will make some kind of appearance in the movie? And they’ll be at least one queer major character too.
And if they’re gonna have Obi-Wan, they need to have Palpatine as well.
If they did bring in Palpatine, it’d be canon...sort of. I know (according to the ‘Star Wars’ comic books) that Palpatine made several clones of himself.
However, I doubt very much that Ian McDiarmid would want to play him again.
