To: Vision

Hi, Vision! We’re doing fine. Just got an inch and a quarter of rain this morning from a system that came off the Gulf. It’s nice here now, not too cool.

We’re going to do a little fire in the fire “bowl” thingy and chicken on the grill, laundry, too, of course.

A friend gave us a big quart bag of frozen white trout fillets, little bitty ones, caught here in the Sound, and I’m trying to figure out what to do with them. Frying them would only make them shrink up to nuggets. I don’t know, maybe cover them with lemon juice and bake them...

What about you? Any Food Wishes? I watched his flat bread video today, just flour(s), salt and water.

When I think frozen fish I think frying or putting into pasta. Fish cakes can be good.

Yea, I did FW creamy mushroom pasta. Good, it can probably be improved by adding more sherry and using mushroom base/stock instead of chicken, will try it again at some point.

What are you doing this week? Taking time off?
