“BILL Cosby says he will sue the National Enquirer for $250 million if the tabloid doesnt retract a story in which a young actress accused the comedian of sexual harassment.
Bill Cosby is going to exhaust the full aspects of the law to protect his rights, Cosby spokesman David Brokaw told The Post.
Brokaw said Cosby has sent the Enquirer a letter demanding a retraction and an apology for the defamatory and fabricated statements made in the article.
The Enquirer story said that Lachele Covington, a 20-year-old actress whos appeared several times on Cosby in non-speaking roles, told police that Cosby fondled her breasts, tried to put his hands down her pants and exposed himself when the two dined alone in Cosbys East Side townhouse on Jan. 25.
Covington filed her police report three days after the alleged incident. No charges were filed against Cosby.”
