The monopoly of book publishers is starting to fall apart as books go digital. An e-book just doesn’t cost the same as a legacy hardback.

Do you think that printing a textbook costs $200? The actual printing is probably the smallest part of the cost and going digital with the associated digital rights management might just drive prices up with the end of the used book market.
