This week, Time Magazine proposed a ban of the word feminist.
It was on a list along with bae, kale, and literally, like a culturally appropriated vocabulary word that has been overused, abused, and exhausted to the point of losing all proper meaning. And even worse, its winning! By a LANDSLIDE! More people would rather ban feminist than yaasssss and turnt.

There has to be a first time for everything. :o)
The only reason why “feminism” was banned is because of the #Gamergate controversy and the anger many gamers are feeling about Anita Sarkeesian and her SJW feminist friends. They spammed the Time poll as a result.
It is encouraging that a lot of male gamers are pissed off at the feminists that are trying to insult men for wanting what they want in video games - sex and violence. No one wants to play “Depression Quest” (which yes, is an actual game).
you mean it’s been banned literally?
why is Kale banned?

It was used to mock the One. Can’t have that.
One ad shown in the link is for a shampoo product. It is insulting....to women though the purpose of course is to “empower” women. I sent that ad to six female friends and all six said they would never buy that product again. Four said they’d contact the company, two laughed and one of the latter said a naughty. :-)
Men are ridiculed in ads and few say anything. There is a company “Red Apple?” for a beverage in which white men are hit by an apple in three different ads. Guess who looks in disbelief in each ad. Imagine if women (or another protected quota group) were hit in the head and white men looked in a mocking fashion.
Try watching this series of videos, where a guy points out just how much sexism/misandry is in our media:
Misandry in the Media
What if they do an article on Rob Lowe? They will literally have no way to write it.
was Rob Lowe the one who made a sex tape with a minor?
Lets get rid of its all good while were at it.
Whenever someone said that to me, sure disaster usually followed.
I would guess that “kale” has been banned because it has become ubiquitous and uber trendy. The vegetable rather than the word has been perhaps overused. It’s popularity has gone through the roof. Very healthful. Everybody has to stuff their faces with it 24/7 to stay healthy and young.
I read an article a few months ago where women, women in the northeast, control the advertising industry. That explained much to me.
He was involved with minors a few decades ago, don’t know how that ended up. He is known for prolific and often incorrect use of the word “literally”. Not him, actually, one of his characters.
Too bad he was never punished and too bad that crap was normal in Hollyweird
</grammar police mode>
Nobody likes feminists. Banning a word isn’t going to change that.
