Only white female public school teachers celebrate it.
That and Cinco de Mayo.
(Only white female public school teachers celebrate it.)
I was an invited guest to a school international festival, seated for dinner at a table with a young black girl and her family. She gave the presentation on Kwanzaa. Other students spoke about Christmas customs in various countries. When the girl returned to the table, I asked a mild question about Kwanzaa. Her mother laughed, said they’re Christians, and her daughter had been assigned Kwanzaa for her report.
The female school teachers stereotyped that girl in requiring her to do the Kwanzaa report, but they are liberals, so I guess it doesn’t matter. /s
