Translation = Obama wants to Tax, Regulate and ultimately CONTROL what is said on the Internet

In other words Obama is saying we are here from the Government to help you out.....

No thank you Mr. Obama. The Internet is doing just fine.

It occurs to me ... as should it to all, that someone has a finger on a button and it is not an agency, nor a presidency, nor a piece of paper

So obola calls on an agency to issue a decree

What if everyone just said 'no' and 'you make me'

Like carbon credits ...

(In my best KARNAK)

... ripping open the envelope, blowing into it ... looking ascance at Ed ... and saying .... huh ?.. ?

>>>While the FCC is an independent agency<<<

In obamaland, there are no independent agencies. Only brownshirts.

Net Neutrality should be simple.
1. I pay for Internet connection
2. Provider offers x download and y upload
3. End of story.

It is no business of the provider (a) who I access through their service (e.g., freerepublic.com) or (b) if I use the service to capacity 24x7.

Tax issues aside, making internet service a utility, just like a phone, makes sense. Our phone companies cannot tell us who to call or how long we can be on the phone.

But, alas, nothing is as simple as all that.

Shouldn’t he be asking Congress to act instead of calling on a commission to act...or am I misreading the Constitution?

Not to worry. If you like your internet, you can keep your internet.

While the FCC is an independent agency,...

Right, yes, I believe that...
