Damn! These guys are good!

Nice to be able to hear the music when it's NOT unbearably loud.

Oh My...Hotel Vladivostok” would be more like it! hahaha. I have heard the Ossipov Balalaika Orchestra live in person at Boston’s Symphony hall, but they never performed this song! :-)

At one time I worked with a friend who ran crews for music events. I worked a private event that the Eagles played. It featured a mariachi version of Hotel California. It was way better than it sounds like it would. I was standing off stage left as they played. It was great!

i wouldn’t follow that ass munch into a cafeteria let alone into battle

my squabbles with the people of that region were due to their communist tendencies and their ever expanding need for territory to support the failed concept of cradle-to-grave government

those squabbles ended with the collapse of the USSR.

the current administration is pro-capitalism with a military arm. much different from communism (tho many of the same players)

meanwhile, the threat we were against until the mid 90s is currently sitting in our own white house. marxism/socialism/communism is the ideological drive of 0bama and the fanatical left (EWarren is another prime example)

Same here. But not up my alley. I had the original vinyl and a pretty decent turntable at the time. Sounded pretty good.

At the beginning when the camera is panned out, the two guys on the left look like midgets. Cool.

I liked that. It was an interesting interpretation. If you'd like to hear some truely awesome instrumental stuff though, try this: Chris Thile playing Bach on a mandolin... press here . Actually, anything by Thile is impressive as hell.

They were outstanding. If there were a bit of very soft voice over it would have been even better. However, their work was magnificent.

I heard an interview with Don Henley who said he was amused at all of the speculation about “the hotel California”,....that it was satanic, that it referred to an LSD trip, that it was about the antichrist. He said when he wrote the lyrics the term “hotel California” was a reference to the STATE of California. That it was beautiful , that L.A. was so cosmopolitan and alluring .....that people who went to California wanted to settle there and they did not want to go back to the place from where they came. I believe it was in the documentary, “The Eageles”, produced by Henley and the other main singer (can’t remember his name).
