I have a buddy who hitch hiked from New Jersey to California in the early 1970s. He told me that two guys picked him up in California and offered him a joint at their house. He went there and when he entered the guys dead bolted the door behind him and laughed. Both the guys were sodomites. They said there is no way out. He picked up a table chair and threw it through their kitchen window and jumped out and trotted down the street. The Queers did not follow. I still see my buddy once in a while and he is biker to the core.

35 years ago in Dothan Alabama I got a ride in the back seat of a car with two apparently homosexual men and a woman (probably), who were all in the front. When we neared my turn and I said thanks this is where I get off, the woman turned to say, “No, sweetie, you need to come home with us.” They didn’t stop to let me out. They turned off the highway and slowed down to 20 or so to do so. I pushed open the door and threw my bag out and rolled out after it. I landed on the grass and the car just kept going. So did I.
